Homelessness in Vegas and Hospital Fees

I was reminded of this video today.

The price of an ambulance ride, followed by going to a hospital that doesn’t accept your insurance? I’d run from that ambulance truck too.

In Canada, we don’t have the hospital bills, but rides are expensive as hell….

@Rayman1971  It depends on the province, in Ontario the ambulance fees range from C$45 to C$240 depending on whether your trip was deemed medically necessary or not.

@JollyOldCanuck  That’s a fucking bargain here in the US. Try $1000 for an ambulance ride

as a dane, this is just insane to me.
BEING SCARED OF THE AMBULANCE?!
the only time ive ever used an ambulance, it was free of charge, not even called by me or my family, it came fast asf despite being late as hell, the workers were the sweetest funnest people, the driver was told to “floor it” even tho i wasnt actually in that bad condition, i was laughing my ass off flying over hills and swerving corners
I WOULD DO IT ALL AGAIN JUST FOR THAT
and i see you people running from the ambulance

Either way, for whatever reason he’s running away from the ambulance, I’ve heard the horror stories about healthcare costs in America. So, we should be compassionate.
